Easy Like a Sunday Morning

It's Sunday morning (well, afternoon actually but I am a student, so afternoon doesn't kick in until about 1600) and i'm recovered from a hectic week! 


Exciting news, I have signed for a house for the second year here at Brighton! A lovely re furbished four bedroom house, large modern kitchen, 3 double rooms and a single just 7 minutes walk from my uni campus (on a hill but in Cowes I live on a hill so i'm used to it!). The one thing us, just me and the amazing Greek nutcase Elle are the only 2 at the moment (we paid extra to secure the house as we loved it so much). This means we need 2 housemates ASAP. It also means we get first pick of bedrooms. Im having rear top floor double, and Elle is having front top floor double! (Obviously the current tenants are a tad messy be me Elle and I are both clean freaks!)

Other activities this week including building a telephone box sized 'hide' to erect in the woods using 'found' materials. Quite difficult but we've been working on it. We've built some of the frame (admittedly out of timber, not found) and planting lentils in cups to create a 'living wall'. Mine have just started to germinate :). We have found some materials though, but involved walking around Brighton for endless hours with palettes and things as they won't let us on the bus with them! Here's alex doing a bit of carpentry and Elle planting lentils in cotton!

I have also decided that i'm not going out on the town now until my Birthday. This is in a bid to protect my liver and conserve some of the doller i've got left, as i've been living a bit luxuriously and cannot maintain the lifestyle! Still birthday less than 2 weeks. 19 years old, so 20 next year. Scary!

 I think I need a cup of tea now! Wheres mum when you need her!
